The list below contains sandwiches we have found so far that begin with O or P. I have expanded this page with a little more about many of the sandwiches and where they originated from. So, enjoy reading through the list.

1. Obatzda Sandwich - (Germany)

8. Oyster Po' Boy - (USA)
Hailing from Louisiana, the Oyster Po' Boy is a Southern sandwich with roots in the rich traditions of New Orleans. This iconic sandwich is made with crispy fried oysters, placed in a soft French bread roll with a slightly crunchy crust. It usually includes shredded lettuce, ripe tomato slices, and a creamy, tangy remoulade sauce. The Po' Boy is a tribute to the region’s love of fresh seafood. Originally created as an affordable meal for working-class "poor boys" during the 1920s, the Po' Boy has since become a symbol of Louisiana cuisine. There are other versions made with fried shrimp and roast beef.

1. Pambazo - (Mexico)
The Pambazo sandwich is a street food from Mexico. It is especially popular in the central regions, including Puebla and Mexico City. This unique sandwich gets its name from the special pambazo bread, which is lightly dipped in a vibrant red chili sauce made from guajillo peppers. The bread is lightly toasted or pan-fried to infuse it with a smoky, spicy flavor. 2. Panini - (Italy)
The Panini, or “small breads,” originated in Northern Italy. This sandwich is made with Italian bread varieties such as ciabatta, focaccia, or baguette, which provide the perfect foundation for grilling. They can be filled with a variety of fresh and flavorful ingredients. A classic Panini might include thinly sliced prosciutto, creamy mozzarella, fresh basil leaves, and juicy tomatoes. Vegetables like roasted bell peppers or grilled zucchini are also common, along with olive oil or pesto to elevate the taste. They are then pressed and toasted until the bread is golden and the filling is warm and melty. The Panini is a staple of Italian cafes. 3. Pastrami on Rye - (USA) A sandwich made with pastrami, typically served on rye bread with mustard.
4. Pastrami Reuben - (USA) A variation of the Reuben sandwich, made with pastrami instead of corned beef, served on rye bread with sauerkraut, Swiss cheese, and Russian dressing.
5. PB&J - (USA) A classic peanut butter and jelly sandwich, typically served on sliced bread.
